August Atomic Sketch Event

This month's Atomic Sketch Event will take place Thursday August 26th from 6-10 pm at evilOlive nightclub, located at 1551 W. Division Street.

Following on the heels of a very successful two-year anniversary, Atomic Sketch Event is pleased to announce some big news.

Regulars at Atomic Sketch may or may not have noticed a change in musical programming as of late, which has been a result of a new partnership with The Chicago Independent Radio Project, or CHIRP Radio. With this new partnership, CHIRP will be supplying Atomic Sketch with our DJs every month, which is very exciting. And we're happy to help increase awareness of this locally-driven, independent music project.

Atomic Sketch and CHIRP radio are a perfect match since we're both local, independent and represent our respective emerging scenes. Click on the link to the right to tune in to CHIRP to hear about Atomic Sketch Event and also to hear great music and radio programming.

This month's CHIRP DJ will be Nick White, spinning soul, funk and r&b.

We will be continuing our two year anniversary all-star show in the evilOlive gallery this month, and the panel of artists will be.

Atomic Sketch Event turns 2!

On July 29th, 2010, we will have our 24th Atomic Sketch Event, and we're celebrating with a giant-sized, all-star panel and group show. This will be the single largest showing of artwork and artists in Atomic Sketch history and we're very excited to see what happens. Atomic Sketch takes place from 6-10 pm at evilOlive nightclub, located at 1551 W. Division Street in Chicago.
