It is a new year and Atomic Sketch will be ringing in the new year with some special events. First things first, our January 26 panel of talented artists. We are proud to bring you 8 amazing artists.

Atomic Sketch & Green Eye Lounge present: Atomic Winter Event 2012

What is Atomic Winter Event 2012? It is the first group show that Atomic Sketch is curating at Green Eye. Since we changed venues Atomic Sketch has not curated any feature artists or group shows. The first show will run 2 months and then we will be working with our great hosts at Green Eye to bring in new work.

The group show will feature 11 amazing artists, some old, some new and 1 from San Francisco. The January panel will also consist of most of the artists in the group show.

December Atomic Sketch Event News

Atomic Sketch is proud to announce: Book Release and Signing with John Airo, The Legend of Henry Brewer: The Axe Man

Atomic Sketch along with Green Eye Lounge, is proud to host the Chicago release of the new graphic novel, The Legend of Henry Brewer: The Axe Man on Thursday, December 29th, 2011 from 6 pm to 11 pm. Written by James Di Angelo, of Red Moon Features, and illustrated by Chicago artist and longtime ASE supporter, John Airo, Di Angelo tells the story of a small farming town in 1930's Iowa being terrorized by, not one, but two serial killers. John Airo has provided a dark and haunting backdrop to Di Angelo's story, giving each page a chilling life of its own.

November Atomic Sketch Event News

Join Atomic Sketch early this month, on Thursday Nov 17, 6pm at Green Eye Lounge.

For those who have never been, our panel of artists will create original works of art through the night and put them on the wall for extremely affordable prices.

In addition to the panel, drop-in artists are always welcome to bring their materials and sell their work. It's a great chance for up-and-coming artists to get recognized and for up-and-coming collectors to start or continue a great art collection.

This month's Atomic Sketch Event takes place Thursday November 17th from 6-11 pm at The Green Eye Lounge on Western Avenue right under the Blue Line stop. See you there!
