About Atomic Sketch Event
Atomic Sketch Event is a monthly live art event entering its third year of awesome nights of art-making and drink-drinking. Atomic Sketch happens monthly at the Green Eye Lounge in Chicago's Bucktown from 6-10 pm.
Each month a panel of established and emerging artists from Chicago - and even visiting artists from around the country - is selected to create original works of art live at the event. These pieces then hang on the walls and sell for extremely affordable prices. Artists whose work priced in the hundreds of dollars often sell work for $10 or $20! This format allows artists a great community to network in and art enthusiasts a great way to score real art for affordable prices.
Artists do not need to be on the panel to participate at the Atomic Sketch Event. Artists are encouraged to bring their own supplies and sketch and hang their work to sell. Atomic Sketch Event takes no commission on work sold that is created at the event.
